WAXING SERVICES Waxing Price list

The salon offers professional waxing services, we do not use pot waxes which enables us to maintain high hygiene standards.

The therapist will cleanse the area to be waxed with a pre-cleansing treatment lotion. The therapist will then apply a high quality warm wax to remove the unwanted hair. You should ensure that the hair to be waxed is a minimum of around a minimum of 0.75cm - 1cm so the wax will take to the hair effectively. This is normally 2 weeks post shaving growth for most ladies or 4-6 weeks post waxing.

Once the waxing has been completed, a soothing after treatment lotion is applied to nourish and calm the skin and to help it recover from the treatment. Please remember to exfoliate pre-waxing areas prior to treatment to aid a more relaxing service.

Wax Aftercare Advice

Care has to be taken on newly waxed areas for 24 - 48 hours after treatment regardless of size of area treated. The hair follicles will remain open for up to 12 hours and heat will be retained in the skin, therefore, to avoid any complications the following advice should be adhered to:

No hot baths or showers for 24 hours
No sun exposure or sunbeds for at least 24 hours
Wear loose clothing after treatments
Do not apply perfumed products for at least 24 hours
Do not apply make up overthe treated area
Avoid touching the area that has been treated
Do not swim for at least 24 hours
Do not exfoliate for at least 24 hours

We would suggest exfoliating the treated area twice weekly to prevent ingrown hairs. You may try applying a suitable product to help raise the hair out of the skin. Advice and products are available in salon.
